Here's the fully put together collage of the female cast of my American Omiai cast. It took longer then I expected once I got itno putting the three parts together as the three parts did not match up as well as they did on paper.
I also attempted a background that was to be a skyline of Tokyo on one side morphing into an American one on the other, but my PS stink big time so after many failed attempts, I decided to simply include the familiar title and a brief caption describing the series as a kind of promotional piece for the project.
I'm also thinking of doing a piece involving the guys of the project, though that one will not be as big since the cast isn't as huge compared to the females.
I hate it when things don't line up. I used to work with 11x14 pages but since they never scanned well in 8.5x11 scanners I gave up. But it looks like you were able to resolve any issues you had.

Somewhat. I got them all to be the same hight somehow when I shrunk them down, but despite looking like the same height, especially when I compared them before scanning, the connection points were off. So I had to go and re-draw parts of Takako and Kimiko's arms that connect to the other pieces. Then to make them look similar to the rest of the art I blurred the fixed areas.
I see know why I hadn't done the whole massive piece of art that connects together thing before now thanks to this. ^_^;

It can be a real pain in the neck. I wish they would still make large scanners which don't cost a mint. My first roommate's scanner was 11x14 and it was a cannon but that was a very old model.

You apparently have to be part of a big art related business to get those huge scanners nowadays I'm guessing. I'd be nice to have bigger ones, but we have to do what we can with what we got.
